Tuning Problem (help)
 

I had to have a new string put on my TomKat right before season started. When I got my bow back and screwed on my BH's, I had to make a slight adjustment to my sight. So, I was sure I had a minor tuning issue, butmy arrowsare flying true and straight. I am stacking arrows at ameasured 40yds so I didn't bother with it.

Well, I wanted to go to a heavierarrow so I went back to the GoldTip Hunter XT 5575's which I've shot before and liked them better than my current arrows.

Ok, heres the problem. I got my arrows today and went out to shoot. At 20yds they were hitting the target at an angle. So, I backed up to 35yds and you can clearly see that they are cork screwing before they hit the target and again they went into the target at an angle. They are hitting where I'm aiming, but not flying true.

My question is. Would these arrows being stiffer magnify the tuning issue that I have?Its back to the drawing board for sure.

First thing to do is go out and shoot about 20 arrows. The string will strech a little. Then set your knock. Then paper tune and then set your sites. It appears you are getting either a right or left tear. You need to fix that.

I've had the string on for a few months now and shot 100's of shots, so I am sure its stretched all its going to stretch.

Ok, then Id check the nock agian. Then paper tune. I bet you will need to move your rest one way or the other.

Also, spin test your broad heads, just to make sure. If your bow is tune and your arrow is in tune, you shouldnt have any problems. And since you said you have moved to a bigger spine, you will probably need to reset your rest.
