I am officially eating some crow....
I arrived at work today to see the PSE rep was here. We were expecting him but not this soon, the rep comming only means one thing, we get to shoot some bows [8D]. As he started unloading the 08' bows, I saw one that caught everyone's eye. It looked like a youth bow. It was the X-Force SS I had been critisizing. I figured I would give it a sporting chance. I picked it up and it really came to perspective just how short the 26 5/8" ATA bow was. Note, it was a Right handed bow, so I had to shoot it LH, no big deal though, I do it all the time at the shop, as long as it's not a Hoyt. I drew it back, and the DL was about 1/2" long, it definately has the X-Force draw cycle, whatever you do DO NOT CREEP. I rolled into the wall the first time and it about ripped my shoulder out, and I usually do not creep. After I got past that, I shot it, my jaw almost hit the floor. That bow has absolutely ZERO handshock, and is quiet as can be. But, since it was the PSE rep it was fully decked out and shooting PSE 400's, at 60lbs, so it had some help. Honestly though, this bow can flat out shoot, I was smacking shafts together consistantly at 30yards. Everyone of us who shot it couldn't believe how quiet, fast, and just how accurate it really is. I figured it would be so critical that you couldn't shoot it very well. I was definately VERY wrong. It's a shooter and I bet that that bow will out sell all the other PSE bows in our shop. I was very impressed, here's a picture I snapped with my phone.
![]() As far as the other bows go. The Rogue X will be a big seller, being a speed bow at a lower price. The new Mossy Oak X, and the Browning Grand Illusion are the same bow. |

My Bowtech is doing fine so far, although the cable guard rod is sliding out of the bow frame. |
RE: I am officially eating some crow....
That is the bow that I have been wanting since I first saw it on PSE's website. It is great to hear a good review on it. I will more than likely be buying one in about March.:D

Uglier than sin, but it doesn't suprise me it shoots well. I've enjoyed shooting the few X-Forces we've had in at work.
