Turkeys

Hey guys, I am going hunting for turkeys on the 27th and was wondering. Do you guys think i would be able to use a judo point for them because i dont really feel like using one my mr rage BH's?I am pulling 65-67 pounds.Or do you think i should use my rage broadheads? Thanks

Definitely think you should use the Rage. A judo point is only meant for small game. Some turkeys won't even go down if you don't hit them just right with a BH. Keep the judo's in the quiver for squirrels and rabbits, use the rage or another BH for the turks.

Agreed, don't ever use judo points for turkeys!

no a practice tip is just a broadhead that hasnt been sharpened making it about as effective as a judo point.

only use BHs for turkeys....the bigger the cutting diameter the better. some people put adder points behind expandables to keep them from fully opening creating even bigger cutting diameters and keeping the arrow from passing through the turkey. better chances of a clean kill if arrow remains in turkey.
