RE: Muzzy comes through!
Congrats. I am struggling with what to do this weekend. Turkey season opens Saturday. If it rains, that makes it easy. Another bow day.

Congrats on the kill, I remember the first elk I ever shot a cow...I was using muzzy 3 blades I hit her right in the scapula too...and it smacked so loud and still got good penetration..not my best shot placement ever but the bladedid itsjob.... she ran 50-60 yards, got drunk, and fell over dead.. they are tuff when ya hit a bone..thats forsure..

RE: Muzzy comes through!
Took a doe last year and she was quartering away,I was also shooting muzzy 100 gram 3-blades, the shot went through her oppisitescapula at about 20 yards...I was impressed that it still had enough force to punch though the shoulder after breaking ribs on impact. She didn't run all that far as she ended up in a pile after about 50 yards...
