First buck.. update (pics)
 

WOW what a great day. I originally did not think that i would be able to hunt last night, my truck was in the shop and my mom needed the car so i was out of luck. My friend (stealthhunter22) was nice enough to come pick me up. We get to our stands around 4:15 and he texts me that he saw two bucks making rubs around 5. By the time that they made it to my stand it was 6:15. This is a very small woods only 5 acres so i was amazed that it took him that long to get to me. I saw him on top of the walking through the brush at 30 yds. He was on a direct path to my tree but took a different trail that sent him perfect broadside at 15 yds. I was at full draw since i saw him walking down the hill. By the time i decided let the arrow go i had been holding it for probably a minute. I was shaking from excitement and strain but the shot was decent. By the time i shot is partially quarting away and the arrow went through the liver and clipped the right lung. My stomach sunk at first because i thought it was too far back. When i checked the arrow i felt a lot better becuase it was covered in blood and there was good srpay. We tracked him for about 50 yds, where he crashed and fell down the hill. This is my first buck, second bow kill and only my third deer period! This was one of the best days of my life.
