It's a dog! ...or maybe a dingo. Too tall and dark for a coyote. Where was the camera? if it was in the town park I bet it's a dog!!

I can see where this is confusing and everbody says a dog, but i cant deny my first impression of a mountain lion.

I was able to isolate the image in my photo editing software and enhance the color and contrast to give us a better look..........

OK I was the first to say it was a mountain lion, thenbigjim said I was on something. I'm telling you it is a mountain lion, several have been sighted in Illinois, one was shot and killed about two years ago. This is what you do, save the photo and open it on your computerwhere you can zoom inon the photo, look at the face, there is no snout like a dog. Then look at the tail, it belongs on a big cat. Last look at the body from the mid section back, this is amoutain lion. Well that is my story and I am sticking to it.
