If work will allow, try to hunt during the rain or just afterwards. Of course not if it is storming bad. But yes, I like to hunt after a rain. Remember to really try and keep your movements to a minimum while in the tree...the ground being wet is definately an advantage to the deer being able to get close to you withough you knowing he/she is coming. Of course the wet ground is to your advantage too...quiter entry in to the woods and keeps your scent down! Good luck!

It's always good to hunt an evening regardless of the rain however, it's very likely to have good deer movement after a rain. Good luck.
