First day out is horrible
 

Today was the first day i was able to get out and hunt and it only lasted an hour. when i first got out it was drizzling and wasn't too bad, then the wind and lightning started in and i was outta there. so far i have only been in the stand for an hour this season. kinda sucks but it will get better.

I know what you mean. I also live in NE Kansas. It has rained a good 5 inches in the last 12 hours. Right after this rain will be a great time to get out. The creek behind my propoerty will be roaring.

it has rained one day since my first hunt and i was working that day i hope you guysgetome better weather

We're short about 14" this year.....and we're almost on water rations (those on city water). Our well has always provided....but we're nervous, now.

Believe me....I'd trade places with you (as far as our "problems"). Send some our way.
