I think this about the 25th post on Rages in 2 months within the Bowhunting, Review and Technical Forums. I think the search engine works.

I just gave 3 unused ones away to my neighbor. The dern things wouldn't keep their blades retained in my quiver. I only pushed them in far enough to make sure the arrows didn't rattle, still every single time I would nock one I would have to put the blades back in. But THAT wasn't what made me get rid of them. I was removing my quiver and one of those blades had come loose and jabbed me in the finger. I will say they're pretty sharp.

I've got Grim Reapers now.

I can not honestly tell you how good or bad they are, if they deploy properly, they raise hell on their prey. I used them once to try out on a hog BEFORE I launched one at a whitetail. I was not very impressed. I can tell you, that I have more then 50 animals down with Rocket Sidewinders, nothing I've seen makes a nastier entrance and exit hole like the big Rocket mechanicals. They perform flawlessly and will open on a tomatoe and have been around looong before Rage was even a idea. Whitetail deer look very much like they were shot with a 12 gauge slug. The Rage seems heavily promoted these days by some very big names, they do get paid for that endorsement however. DFA

I killed a mature doe last night with the two blade model and had very large entrance/exit holes, as well as a great blood trail. She made it all of 50 yds. before piling up.
