I am taking off on a trip out to South Dakota on Friday, and was just curious what kind of cover scents or attractants people are using now. Is it too early for a doe in heat attractant or it wouldn't hurt to try. Or any other suggestions are appreciated.

Human Urine. I wipe it all over my hunting clothes, put a little bit in my hairand use it as cover scent. It really works!

This time of the year I use curiosity scents for attracting deer. I use Rob kursners (sp sorry) curiosity sent (works great!) and if the store is sold out I use trails end.

For cover up I like to use the fall blend cover up spray. Smells just like the woods and dirt in the fall.

Watkins vanilla extract the best curiosity sent I have ever seen. Rub a little on your boots walk to your stand and drop a cotton ball with some on it and the deer will come in. I have had deer walk right in the way i did and lick the steps to my stand now that only happened once but it was still cool to see.

And the best part is if you or your wife like to bake the stuff is awesome.

In my opinion the best scent is no scent.
