BOW DRAW

I SHOOT APSE TEAM FITZGERALD COMPOUND BOW I WENT TO A LOCAL ARCHERY SHOP AND THEY SAID THAT I HAD A 27 INCH DRAW WHICH WOULD ONLY ALLOW ME TO SHOOT 60 POUNDS HOW CAN I QUICKLY MEASURE MY DRAW LENGTH AND WHAT ELSE WOULD HAVE TO BE CHANGED I WOULD LIKE TO SHOOT 65 TO 70 POUNDS. WHAT DO YOU THINK. THANKS.

RE: BOW DRAW

Your draw length has nothing to do with your Max. weight. You could have a 26" draw and 100 lb. limbs, unless the limitation is in the relationship between the cam and the limbs on that particulair bow. I have never heard of anyone being limited on the amout of weight they can draw based on the draw length.

RE: BOW DRAW

It may be that your bow will not go any higher.draw length is not the problem. Why do you think it needs to be 65 or70 mine is set at 56 and it will kill any deer as well as one set on 70.

RE: BOW DRAW

The PSE Team Fitzgerald 60 - 70 lb draw weight doesn't come in 27" draw. You can find other bows that make a 27" draw on a 60 -70lb bow.
I believe thats what he was telling you.
