I was in my stand 4 deer came from down wind of me they never new that i was there

ive had it happen 10000x.

my favorite is when im small game or fall turkey hunting...sweating like a pig...small game jacket that aint been washed in a year...making all kindsa noise...and here comes mr bighorned buck...less than 5yds away..downwind..and im on the ground.

thats why i got into bow hunting. that happened to me prettttty regularly...guess it was always around rutting time..but man...

also have it happen all the time on stand. thats when i just sit there and hope that i dont stink too badly...

had a grey fox 12yds downwind the other night...he never even looked my direction. keep yourself and your clothes and gear clean and youll be alright.

i think come the end of the month im just gunna walk around like i used to in fall turkey season and get me a big ole monster buck to walk right up to me and lick my broadhead...cut his tounge and bleed to death from it...ive seen some STUPID bucks...now i havent seen one yet in the past 2 years i been bowhunting

Isnt that the way it always turns out mauser. When you want to and are ready to see a buck they are never there. But leave the camp without a bow and they are all around ya!!

I have that kind of stuff happen all the time and I dont wear scent lok. I am just very careful about my scent.
