ladder stand plans
 

Does anyone know where I can get plans on how to build a ladder stand. I see some on the internet for sale, but I thought there would be some place on the net that has them for free. Or maybe some of you have built your own and could offer e few tips before I get started. Thanks.

Be careful. Don't order anything from Chris Rhyne out of South Carolina. He is very dis-honest. I will not get into details, but take my word for it.

My buddy built a ladder stand this year out of conduit. He didn't have any plans he just modeled it after ladder stands in a catalog. It turned out really well, I hunted out of it myself a couple of times. If you have access to a welder and a conduit bender it is pretty easy to build your own stands out of conduit. I wish I had a picture, I would send it to you. We plan on building a few more stands this summer, I'll have to post some pictures then.
