I enjoy the late season. Especially when there is snow on the ground. Last year I missed out because of the birth of our youngest son. This year I hope to make up for lost time. ;)

I love it .. late season, quiet woods, snow.. cold.. deer back to feeding great times..

I love the late season for all of the above reasons....most of the time I am hunting the late muzzy season (runssame time asthe late bow season in IA) as i have filled my bow tags though.

I will be - ours goes all they way to Feb. 15 (the last day of the contest :D).

Hopefully after a month of little to no shooting, they will start moving. Plus, we don't get a lot of
really cold weather sometimes until late January / early February.

Last year I hunted with my bow on new years eve and had 5 mature bucks walk by.They were already in a bachelor group I couldn't believe it. One was a double main beam 8 point, awesome buck. I was a believer after that.

Next to the peak of main rut, I love hunting late season. Though it can be more difficult due to season wary whitetails, in the right place there can be some monster bucks to be hunted.
