Bullet Hole Bailey, I am not sure what all I hit, thought I got a heart shot but it was undamaged. I smacked her good and the Trick did its job. Here is another pic.

Popeanyounghunter beat ne to it , blade sharpness plays a major roll also
cpuld have been a deciding factor in this situation , and , a passthru is not a passthru , when one is with sharp blades and the other with less than sharp blades .

Looks likea lung hit to me, I can't see any cuts on the small piece of theheart that I see. Liver is behind the diaphram.......your in front of that.
What are the details on the shot for this one. Were you in a treestand/ground blind? The shot angle doesn't look steep but it is on a slight angle....... completely broadside?
I have had similar issues with broadheads for the last 3 yrs, it isn't the broadhead. Its shot placement. Here's what has helped me. If shot from the ground or a low treestand I aim for the center of the bottom half of the chest. If shot at a steep angle I aim a little higher...... about on the centerline or a little higher. Try this just watch the angles and read the info for each shot

Just to clarify, I did not start this post but was posting pics of my shot with my Slick Tricks. She piled up at 30 yards. The shot was 19.5 yards at approximately 13-15 feet off the ground (climber). It was an angle but not a steep one. I am pleased with my shot and the outcome.

Can't explain whyyour Slick Trick didn't do the job, but here isa picture of an entrance hole on one I shot with a Slick Trick. He went 40 yards and piled up.
