Watch out for Ticks
Just got back from the DR.s office I got a tick bite on Saturday and it looks like the tick could have been a carrier of Lyme Disease. So 3 weeks of popping pills and I should be fine.
Just be carefull if your in an area with ticks. It looks like this warmer weather they hatched again. |
RE: Watch out for Ticks

RE: Watch out for Ticks
My father had Lyme Disease in June from our trip to Canada fishing. He was layed up for about 4 weeks, and it really messed up his abdominal track...[&:]

RE: Watch out for Ticks
It's kind of interesting how the tick seasons are so different all over the nation.
After about the first half of July ticks are fairly uncommon to find. Seems like when it gets to being around 100 for a couple weeks they die off, and don't really come back till mid may. We mostly have wood and deer ticks here in the panhandle of Nebr. Now during May, June, and the first part of July they are as thick as green shag carpeting in a 1970s trailer house. |

That's how it is normally around northern WI also but with the warmer temps they hatched a new crop.I had 10 on me this weekend with only the 1 biting me.

Sounds kinda gross but i was taking a dump the other day and seen something black on my leg i thought it was dried blood so i picked it and it wouldnt come off and i looked closer and it was a tick, took me about 12 tries to get it out and half its body was inside my leg.. i had the bulls eye and then now today i looked and its just a dark mark so hopefully it never had lymes...
