what do you guys suggest callin in deer at this time a year its not quite rut yet but about a 2-4 weeks away..

what do yall suggest?

I grunt and use doe contact calls all season long. I've had much success with this. Never know until you try. You'd be surprised.

Amen! As far as your question, I've been having the same one on the right way to call. I just use my can and a grunt once and while to maybe try and stir something up. They probably just all laugh and run away from me:D.

I have used early rattling with success. Just make sure it is a very light tinkling of the ivory.
