215" Louisiana deer update
 

OK guys I've done a little asking around and the huge buck killed in Louisiana is legit.It appears it was killed in tensas parish at a place called summerset which is located about 35miles south of tallulah from I-20.Private land along the Mississippi river bottoms and hardwoods,from the pics from the field looked like crp or wrp land.There are great genetics in that area of the state so it is no suprize that the new potential state record would come from there.Man what it would feel like to get an opportunity at a deer like that.Google summerset buck and you should be able to find something about this great deer,the local hunting community is a buzz with the talk of this great deer.

Thay are keeping a pretty tight lip on this even in the louisiana sportsmen forum there is only 8 comments about it.I believe a guy named Jimmy peterson orPaterson was the hunter,will know more when the big buck contest post the pics and score on the simmons sporting goods website.
