Quiver help

Hey guys, I currently have an older Kwikee quiver on my Reflex Super Slam bow. The quick connector that is attached to my bow just doesn't fit the quiver extremely tight. I definitely hear a twang when I shoot my bow while it is attached. I thought about getting some stick-on limbsavers for the quiver, but since you can physically move it side to side a little bit, I figured they wouldn't help. So I thought about getting a new one this year (hopefully from my wife for Christmas!) and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I do the majority of my hunting from a treestand, but do get out in the prairie or whatever to do a bit of stalking each year. My wife and I are kind of on a tight budget right now, so anything in the $50.00 range and under would be best. Thanks for any suggestions.

Marty

I had the same problem with the Kwikee quivers, loose fitting and rattling! I bought a Bowtech quiver that works well, but I always take my quiver off when on stand! When stalking I'll leave it on!

Alpine Soft Loc is a great quiver right at the $50 mark. I have used one for three years now with ZERO problems and it is dead quiet.

Thanks rdy2hnt...I acutually almost bought that quiver when it was on sale at Scheels. They only had the three arrow quiver though and I am more interested in a 5 arrow. Glad to hear somebody else likes that particular one. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with 2 piece quivers? Thanks again.

Hmmm... I bough a kwikee kwiver this year, and have had zero problems with it as of yet. Mine fits tight as long as you make sure to tightend it down when you stick it on

The older KWIKEE KWIVER doesn't have the tightening screw like the new ones. Keeps it real quiet.I don't practice with it on, and I don't hunt with it on, I hang it.It simply holds my arrows.

4388...are you referring to me? Anyways, yes, my kwikee quiver doesn't have the screw like the newer models. I thought about trying to modify something like that myself, but figured it wasn't worth it. I too take mine off when I am in the stand, which is why I am still using the one that I have. However, I have been getting into hunting more on the ground (i.e., stalking, ground blinds) and want to shoot my bow with the quiver on.

I don't know what the price is--But I think if I was gonna mostly stalk hunt I would go with a hip quiver--Then you don't have to worry about the arrows catching on brush--Plus I believe you could get down and crawl better --JMO..

Does anyone have any opinions on 2 piece quivers? I actually don't know anybody that has one, so I don't know what people think of them.
