IT TAKES TWO !!!!!!!!!!!! DOUBLE CONNECTION!!!
 

COULD THIS NIGHT GET NE BETTER.. i think not.. my buddy/roommate and i went hunting tonight without high expectations.. the weather has been hot to say the least and we have hunted the property alot since opening morning last weekend. a long short i connected on my first ever archery buck, and he connected on a large mature doe with those new rage broadheads..let me tell u.. those things are LETHAL !!!!! ill tell my story and let him post his later :)

got into my stand at 4:30..located in a grassy thicket outside there bedding areas..havent been seeing ne deer movement till 7 oclock or later.. so i get a txt from my buddy telling me he might have gotten a doe.. ok.. my day was complete.. i might not see ne thing but he did.. sweet.. no sooner then thinking that.. a 7 pointer ( i missed on thursday at 35 yrds) walks out at 80 yards and TEARS up a tree.. i have not seen this buck once without him making a rub in eye sight of me.. he dissapears for 30 min and appears 30 yrds infront of me.. OMG ..he started to make ANOTHER rub.. but by this time.. shooting time is coming closer and closer.. he dissapeard again only to pop up 15 yards and closing.. stops broadside at 6 yrds and i let 1 rip... buck ran 80 yards and fell in sight!!!!!!!!!!!

how often do u shoot deer back to back with your best friend.. not very often !! wat a night

Great story
Me and my brother had the same thing but he shot one then tracked and jumped it, backed off we got into his stand (2 stands same tree)half hour later 8 pointer came up and I shot him and got it on video. We both ended up with 8 pointers. (2003)

I wish I could find the picture of my Brother and his Friend and I and my friend. 4 of us went out one morning and we returned with 2 9's and an 8 point...I was the one without...[&:]

That happened to me also. It was my first buck. I was 14 and hunting with my dad and uncle. There were three of us in a car all three got our bucks three hours apart. It was a great day. It happened almost 30 years ago and it is still very vivid in my mind. What a great day.

congrats to both of you. I had an experience like that. MAtt / Pa, my nephew and myself were huntign a property about 3-4 years ago and all htree of us nearly filled our tags, like Rob I was the empty bag holder. My hephew shot his first buck with a bow (8pt) Matt shot a huge doe, and I was full draw on a 6 pt but when I went to shoot I could not see enought thru the peep to make an ethical shot but I could see him great thru the binos. he was only 28 yards.but that is hunting. ;)
