Maybe cause this year it was hotter on october 5th than July 5th!!.... Im from Michigan also and im having the same problem. The deer on my property are moving at night.. Im just waiting it out, when conditions are good ill be in my stand but untill then im chillen on huntingnet reading about all the others puttin em down!!

where abouts are you at sparrow? yea im not even getting activity at night but maybe there sticking closer to a waterhole theres no water in my area

cool i did for get to mention that the few times the deer come in my section the only hit the mineral block i have on a stump

Mich and Ohio have been hoit with some strange warm weather deer have changed up alot. Not feeding like they were just a week ago. Moving has slowed big time also.

Didn't read all the responses, but deer patterns shift a lot during the year and hunting season.
Sometimes they are bedding in some secure area browsing on all the new growth plants, other times
they are hitting acorns. If they've been in your area before they will probably come back (unless
you are putting too much pressure on them).

yea the hunting property is a weekend getaway its 3 hours away from where i live so i dont think i pressure the area to much

The only way people in Texas know how to hunt is over bait isn't it????? All those feeders and seeded dirt roads are there for one reason.
