great deer man, congrats. I've never heard that their growth is stunted, but have always heard that they naturally do not live to be as old as other deer due to predators and their lack of natural camoflauge.either way....GREAT BUCK!!

Nice deer! Congrats!

Where I hunt we see piebalds about every other year it seems. We have taken 3 in the last 10 years...and I know we've seen at least 8-10 others in that time. Its a defective gene...and where we are the overpopulation doesn't help I guess. I killed a doe that looked almost exactly like your deer about 6yrs ago with my bow. Trophy for sure. I was siked. I got the hide tanned. If I was you I'd probably mount it since its a buck.

One thing I noticed....over the past 20 years....I have personally seen about 10 different piebalds and ALL have been does. Not sure if that means anything, but we have only ever seen 1 that was a buck....and my buddy got it. It looked exactly like yours, rack and all.

Congrats again!
