Well I didn't go hunting today...
 

Too hot again. I spent the day helping out the Atlantic Salmon Fish Club build a bigger hatchery. Man I'm beat. Started the day at Home Depot picking up a bunch of treated lumber and 3/4 inch treated plywood. Then spent the day carrying and holding and pushing and sawing and carrying. I came home about 4, took off my sweaty clothes to shower and fell asleep. Just woke up. We got a downpour just about the time we started home. Maybe this will bring some cooler air. I'm golfing tomorrow AM so no hunting then. Oh well... next week. Then one of the guys told me today the muzzleloader season is opening up. Dang, they just started the bow season. Bummer.

Me neither and ML started yesterday. Hav'nt picked up a gun in over 12 years but was going to do it today but just too hot for me. It'll be Wed or Thur before we see cooler temps. Might get a shower then too.

Neither did I Dave ... first time since it opened last Monday and temps going to be hotter tomorrowI don't think I'll go out then.

I went out for a morning hunt but packed it up around 9:30am. Didn't see any deer today. Just too darn warm!

I've been out a total of once! Worst start to a season due to weather I can remember.

I went...Killed my 3rd doe, out of the same tree, all between 15-17 yard shots...

Funniest thing is...My hunting buddy got a crossbow this summer, hasn't killed a thing...:D

I decided to go out Friday for an evening hunt despite the warm temps. Well I get up to our property, go to get my shave kit for a shower, and look in the back seat. Boy it looks like somethings missing. Holy crap if I didnt forget my bow. I guess the heat does funny things to me. Oh well, maybe it was the big man just telling me to forget it.... Holy embarrased!!! :)
