My first time out, yesterdey.
 

I wet out deer hunting yesterday for the first time this season, second time ever. I must say, I would of never thought my legs would shake so uncontrollably when that first deer walked into my sight. It was a very exciting experience. I had a 4pt buck walk up to me and it got to within 20 yards and stopped behind some bursh when he heard me pick up my bow. He crossed the creek and I never had a good shot at him. An hour later, a 6 pointer and 8 pointer crossed my path and about 40 yards but I was not comfortable taking a shot that far. That early adrenilin rush kept me in the stand for 9 hours yesterday, but the afternood wasn't as good as the morning. Needless to say, it waspretty exciting just to see something and almost get a shot off. I believe I'm officially hooked as a deer hunter.

Glad to hear we have another in the club. I am also glad to hear that you know your limitations and you are not just letting wild shots off at long distances. Good luck on the rest of the season!!!
