Camo Face Paint ( Wash Hunter)

Does anyone find any odor concerns with the Allen Camo face paints? I was going to just ask our resident expert Washington Hunter ( face paint model) Sorry Dan couldn't resist, but I notice a real strong odor when you open the kit up. I don't like head nets or face covers so I need a type of face paint that deer aren't going to smell. Or isn't this an issue?

I use the 97 cent black creme that is being sold for halloween right now. comes off easy and to my nose doesn't smell. 1 tube goes a REAL long way.

I burn a cork and that's sure to not leave any smell and it comes off really easy. Be sure it's real cork and not synthetic. The only problem is that it only comes in black.

You may want to try costume makeup. It's scent free, hypoallergenic, cheap, and is made to withstand persperation. FWIW, I dragged this buck 3/4 mile before having this picture taken.

Does CarboMask still exist. Wasn't that hypoallergenic and allow persperation through as well?

I hate camo paint, it just seems to get all over everything...I use a comfy mask that allows clear vision and a quick removal come shoot time.

Geez probably like you guys I have nearlyevery mask out there. Honestly what I wear more often than anyting is the cheapo Bacallava (sp??) I bought at Wally world for a couple bucks..It's for the neck primarily but easily pulls up to cover the ears and face right to below the eye.

I used to use a mask years ago, but I had it catch on my string, and it ripped right off my face. This year I tried one of those masks that fit real tight to the face, but I couldn't get the feel of my achor. I thought I would, but it didn't happen.

When do you pull it down? Wouldn't you want it on whena deer is in close?

Thats why I use the cheapo one..it's paper thin mesh..no second guessing the anchor like I would wit a scent-lok or thicker type mask.
