rattle bag -vs- plastic antler set... which is better iyo?

- in terms of life-like sound and functionality?

- advantage/disadvantage of either over the other?

- with regard to sucess rates by comparison?

Thanks

I've never used synthetic antlers but I did have luck with a Knight and Hale rattle bag. The buck in my Avatar was rattled in with a rattle bag in Illinois in late October last year.

I think real antlers definitely sound more "realistic" than the rattle bags, but I like the fact that my rattle bag can fit in a hip pouch or my pocket.

I have a set of the plastic antlers and they suck. They sound like...well, plastic. Real horns are the best by far but the rattle bags work pretty well too. I rattled up several bucks with a rattle bag last year. If I don't have real ones to use...rattle bag!

Neither one has ever worked for me.
