last years archery buck
 

i am bored so i figured i would post the story of my buck from last year. so here we go. i got into my stand on a balmy october morning and felt the cool wind and realized i am glad to be alive and have the life i have. so after that little moment i settled in and saw nothing until this little guy comes out of nowhere and suprises the heck out of meat about 8:05 am. and since it was my first bowkill i was going to shoot him. well i waited and watched him and took in the beauty of him. then i said to myself, long enough now i have to shoot or he will get away. so i drew back, settled the pin, and released. a perfect broadside shot at 18 yards, though it was not a pass through he died within 30 yards i was so proud. and my father was estatic and he actually watched the deer drop after the shot. it was an amazin experience that i will never forget.

Nothing like that first bow kill. Not a bad buck at all. Every deer is a trophy.
