Buck Rubs
 

i am finding buck rubs and scrapes already tis early in the season. they are pretty nice to...i am wondering why the bucks are starting already to do this...is it worth putting buck lure or doe pee in the scrapes...also would it hurt this early to start rattling...thnaks for the help:)

ryan if the rut is right around the corner in your area then it is not to early to rattle.the scraps and increased rub activity indicates that the bucks are getting ready even if the does are not.try to set up on a rub line and you just might catch a buck slipping through.

The rubsare normal and the scrapes are probably satellite or boundary scrapes. The usually dont get hit every day... the bucksare just "feeling out" the territory.
