morning hunt lengths
what time do you guys usually leave the stand on a morning hunt. now i know we all have those days, like saturdays, or days we have off work and have all day to hunt, so we might stay in stand until noon orlonger on a morning hunt. but im talking about if you have other things to do in the day, work, kids, whatever so you just want to go catch a quick hunt. i have school tomarrow around noonand was thinking of hunting until about 9am, and was jus wandering if it would even be worth my time. i would think so because i think the deer stop moving around then, right? thanks alot

My wife stays home alone with the kids all week. I try not to leave her home alone with the kids on Saturdays. I generally leave the woods at about 9, so I get home not long after they are finishing breakfast.

its not worth it to be out there past about 8 or so here in Missouri. and id say about 8pm is when they get up from thereafter noon nap id say. so its not worth it. but that is just my 2 cents. it may not be worth much.

thanks alot. yea im always being told that is when they move around the most. and then they go and bed after 9 or so. i think i may go out. i like the idea of being able to get back home before too late in the morning. gives me a chance relax for heading off to school and work. thanks guys

jim - i dont know what you mean? if i gut shoot a deer i will stay until i either find it or become confident that i will never find it. if i needed to i would take off school and work. but i hoipe to not have to do that
