Most of the nicer sights out now have the option of installing a light that shines on the fiber optic and makes all your pins glow, and i believe it's legal in most states (correct me if im wrong). I forget the name of my sight but it's the one where all the pins are vertical and i have a light on it and i love that sight, it's my sight of choice.

IMO you don't want the "brightest sight" out there. They are so bright you get a glare and can't see the target, all you see is a big glow of pins.

ORIGINAL: mobowhuntr There are a myriad of sights out there w/ bright pins. Cobra makes a fine sight, as does Montana Black Gold, Toxonics, Spott hogg, Copper John, the list goes on. But for the money, IMO the Cobra Boomslang is difficult to beat. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it's really bright w/ a great price. |

Don't go too bright, the Halo effect is annoying.
I really love my Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg-It with the Hogg Wrap and Light on it. I never use the light except when in the blind. But the pins were glowing while it was still dark Tuesday morning when I was in my stand. Plus I get the finest adjustments available...:D |

My HHA OL 5000 single pinis the sight I've always wanted. Real bright at low light. I'm very happy with it!:)

you will hear the entire gamet on what sights are brite ect. I have the RT-900 okay it's brite and small, not the brightest. I have a tru glo it's okay. I have an HHa single pin sight VERY BRIGHT if your looking for something like that. I had an IMPACT ARCHERY sight3 pins. It is a simple sight but naturally the brightest sight I have owned. It is currently on the Mrs. hunting set up and she loves it.

I'd have to agree with the Black Gold. I've got the photochromatic one on my bow. The pins are remarkably bright without the necessity of a light. I can see the pins well into the low light hours. Now if I could only get a clear picture through the peep at those times I'd be set...
Seriously, though, from what I hear it also comes with a great warranty attached. If it gets damaged in any way, the manufacturer will see it gets fixed or replace the sight. Good peace of mind... |
