Who remembers last years complaints
 

I know most of us are faced with above average temps and dry conditions. Locally, we are dealing with an unkind South Wind.

Who remembers what we complained about last year. I can recall my early season being laced with high winds and rain.

my complaint last year: no bucks. my complaint this year: no bucks. that's all I remember about last year. I think the does bred themselves last year.

By this time last season I had killed 2 already and had a baby due (born Oct. 23). It seemed a lot smoother last season other than the mosquitos. Its early still this season I just hope the weather will break soon and hopefully when it does I will be allowed out to "play".

Patience and persistance (that's what I keep telling myself anyway).

The only difference between this year and last is.......last year I was a LOT dumber than I am, now.......if you can beliee that.

Believe it or not.....they're strikingly similar as far as sightings and movement. I know the best is yet to come.

I sat last night for the first time. For such a dry year, I don't know why there are so many mosquitos. I was light headed after they sucked me dry! Alot of sweating and swatting, but no deer in sight. :eek:.

mine is clear in memory: no hunting time! the deer where there, I wasnt. this year is looking up, i will be hunting friday throughsunday most weekends....

Here is a view from my driveway the day before the opener last year. I missed the first two weeks or a four to five week bow season because of it.

I remember it being hotter than hell last year too. I remember hunting every evening in the heat and mosquitos.

i dont recall it being this hot last year.

i do remember the wind and rain...but didnt remember it being TERRIBLE....

but last year was warm...i dont remember wearing a jacket except early mornings and LATE evenings....

we will see...early yet....im hoping for a little bit colder temps. highs of 70 or below would be fine with me...i aint askin for alot...just not unseasonably WARM temps..

gotta play the game with the cards your dealt though right???

Last year I was whining about the heat same as the year before and same as this year. I'm not done!
