Congrats on your harvest Matt. Much respect to you and your friends that went the extra mile in order to do the right thing.

I noticed that Mr. Buck had a crazy eye too. Not trying to be funny but I thought that was wierd to see your left eye blood shot and the Mr. Deer's right eye blacked. Take Care man and thank's for sharing the ride, it was a great one.

Congratulations on a great PA buck Matt. Doing it with a recurve makes it even more special. Like some others have already said, this story is of magazine quality and should be submitted to some of the top ones. Surely, this would make the cut. Great story and great persistence.

Matt so happy for you pal you brought back great memories of my hunt last year with ups & downs.
I also have cardeers necklace hanging from my mirror and I tell you its magic pal. Enjoy every moment of this.

Congratulations to you my friend, what a story with an awesomeending.

I've just got a couple of things to add...

1.) Why the heck didn't you call me?
2.) You tell people to clean up the blood in their pictures yet you take yours with a big ol' blood clot in your left eye...I'm glad you're o.k. Bro!

LOL
Believe me bro I was ready to call you from the field but my cell phone died!! I wanted you to hear that I found him not the whole saga. (enough people were subjected to that)
Yeah I made like4 calls from the deer and poop my phone died.
So then I had everyone trying to call me BACk and couldn't get me! [:-]
When I got my phone on the charger 1hr later I had 11 voicemails.
I wanted to call you last night and got sidetracked plus I'm still not all there, I apologize I left some very good friends out unintentionally.
(You, Rusty, Todd, Chief, the staff guys etc etc...Sorry guys!)

I go to the eye doctor at 11 so she can yell at me for not doing it sooner. She's gonna flip when she's what I did.

Oh and I might be letting it out a bit early but Frank just called me from his stand out of breath and panting about big buck something in a whisper.....I couldn't hear him clearly other than he'll call me back. LOL
Now I'M witing to hear some news!! But he was acting like he just shot something.
Unreal.

Yeah, it was tough to balance the two... Congratulating him for finding the deer, and simultaneously yelling at him for not having charged his phone the night before!! [8D]

Congratulations, Matt... for the 50th time, and I don't think it does it justice. It's our year, bro!
