Small pack need....

I'm going to start taking my still and video cameras out, more....and I guess I need to go ahead and invest in a small pack to carry some things in.

Suggestions....and a link, if possible (if you don't mind!).

Thanks, guys!

Canon Pro 1 / 8.0mpx

I'm seriously considering just getting the side pouches that you can get to fit the Summit climbers.....since I will be hunting out of these, exclusively.

This is the one I use Jeff. You can take as much or as little as you need. It's very water resistant and you can strap cloths to carry in etc...You know I carry way too much and it's never been too small or too large. I hang it on my treestand by the shoulder straps.

No link or photo, Rob. Good point, though...in the description....I need it to be waterproof.

RE: Small pack need....

Rob, he said he needed a SMALL pack. :D

I just picked up one of these -http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=&id=0006533510106a&nav Count=0&podId=0006533&parentId=&master pathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=XH& rid=&parentType=&indexId=&cmCat=netcon &cm_ven=netcon&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Ca bela's%20Deluxe%20Whitetail„¢%20Day%20Pack%20&cm_ite=netcon&a mp;hasJS=true- to carry my video camera in. And it has enough room for a small point and shoot in the side if you need it, which would be perfect for you Jeff.

That is my recommendation.

EDIT for specs:[*]Waterproof shell with a waterproof-rated 210 nylon lining[*]Molded foam back provides extra support and comfort[*]Reinforced stitching at all stress points[*]Internal organization panel[*]Buddy-Lok attaching system[*]650-cubic-inch capacity

(well, I tried to make it a small link but it didn't work.. I'll go back to my room now. -Christine)

My BIL uses that same pack. He loves it. I swear if he forgot to bring that pack on a hunt he would break down and cry!

Yeah, I had the photo there and it didn't show. I hate Cabela's links. They are so long they stretch out the damn post so you cannot read it.

Just search the pack name on Cabelas' website. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/home/home.jsp?cm_re=store*topnav*CabelasLogo

RE: Small pack need....

Justin:

The ONE thing that would make a perfect pack....is if the one you linked me to had a handwarmer pocket on it. It would be nice to have those two items in one piece of equipment. I don't wear big gloves. I use the hand muff and hot hands. I suppose I could attach this to my bow hook when I got settled. Thinking more....I suppose one wouldn't wear this while on stand.

Thanks guys....I'll get something coming my way.

Hey, you saw me carry that pack in....you can put as little or as much as you want but you never say, It didn't fit!

Think about it Jeff, still camera, video camera, binos, rangefinder, pack your cloths on it, release, and anything else...it all adds up.
