I left the office around 4:50 this afternoon. I was in the stand by 5:20. Just a few minutes later I looked to my right to see 4 does come out of the woods on the other side of the pond about 125 yards away. They got a sip of water and started to head through the funnel of woods that leads from the main woods to my area. All 4 of them came into within about 10 yards. I had to wait about 5 minutes for this pretty girl to seperate herself from the others so I wouldn't hit another if I got a pass through. She turned giving me a quatering away shot at about 10 yards. My muzzy found it's mark! I watched the arrow dissappear and she took off. She only ran about 40-50 yards before piling up. The arrow passed through busting out both lungs around exiting through her right shoulder. 12 minutes from the time I got in my stand until the time I shot her! Doe number 2 for the year on the dirt!!

Question. I will be doing some hunting immediately after work this year myself, and I'm curious as to how you handle scent control? I won't be able to shower after work, so I'm on an information gathering expedition.

Awesome hunt, quick but awesome. You don't have to be there long when your there at the right time. Great picture too, that's the way to do it.:D
