Default First Bow Deer?

This is my first year bow hunting and Ihave passed plenty of them up so I was wondering if it would be ok to take a fawn for my first bow kill?

You always remember your first no matter what. My first was a fawn. I have no regrets whatsoever. Many good memories about that day. I can still picture my grandfather smiling .... absolutely priceless!

personally I'd hold off, today's fawn may be tomorrows monster... only cuz of my own desires to land a bigger buck... but as others have said, take whatever makes you happy...

Defenitely only take what you are comfortable with but taking that first deer sure feels good and the experience will be gained for when the bigger ones come out. My buddy who I shoot with every week missed twice over the past opening weekend because of nerves. I think once he gets that first one under his belt he will be a lot better off.
