The season opener starts tommorow morning here in Kansas.... It'll be both deer and turkey.... I've got a spot that has both... I'm wondering if I'll even sleep tonight or if I should just leave now and nap under a tree....
Excitment has me...
Packed my sac... got a lunch and water.... knife, glovesand other gear... Bows driving tacks..... release is sturdy... Tags are in my wallet.... I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

Yeah the OK opener is in less than 10hrs. All packed up and ready to go. Can't sleep, I'm like a kid before Christmas. :eek: I just wish it would cool off. GOOD LUCK!!!!

good luck bud, im in kansas near Hiawatha. but i have to work tommorow, so i will go out this coming weekend adn i am ready.

I am somewhat concerned about the temp and may not take a deer because of it.... I'm more lookin forward to get back to the woods and be myself again....
I will however shoot whatever turkey walks out in front of that bow. The hens around here are so thick it makes spring gobbler hunting difficult... so I'm debating wacking hens and smoking them for thanksgiving.
