Less than 24 hours ....
 

.... and counting down , I'll be in my treestand drawing my bow back on a nice buck ( I hope ) or a good size doe either way I'll be out back where I belong.
I'm so excited about getting out there I just can't wait , my friend BullRider115 will be joining me and I hope he gets a shot at one too.

Good luck with the Michigan opener!!!!! I'm still debating on making it up to the cabin, 427 mile drive! I won't know until later today, I'll just throw my stuff in the truck and hit the road!

i thought PA was the only goofy state with a Monday opener(rifle)

let me say....it DOES feel great to be back out there perched up in a tree and leaves turning colors and falling right infront of your eyes!

I have to work tomorrow. But, I feel a cold coming on. Don’t know if I’ll make it to work. I might need a day to rest (outdoors in my stand to shake this cold).

I am pumped to get out in the tree stand also!! Hunting East Central Illinois for bow season and West Central Il for Shotgun season!! Good luck to everyone and I look foreward to seeing the pics and reading the stories of all your hunts!! GOOD LUCK ALL!!!

I have been looking forwardto tomorrow for ever, and now I don't know if I will be on stand tomorrow. I have had a really bad ear infection for about 3 days now. I have been taking every kind of medication under the sun with no prevail. So I'm hoping that I wake up tomorrow feeling good.

Tomorrow is the day for me too! I have to work until 3:30, but I can be in my stand by 4:15. I can't wait!!

Less than 24 hours... and I'll be driving over to Illinois for my first sit in a stand all year too!
