Rev is really a great guy! Where the deer came out and early as it was it was difficult for him to pinpoint the sex,which doesn't matter,it was a clean kill and and he was concentrating on shoot placement.If it was a resticted sex hunt he would have taken time and precautions!I gave him grief for the next few hours after the hunt,even followed him into town and pushed his buttons in Whataburger in public! If he wasn't a great guy he woulda arrowed me!:D

Lets explore the crappy guide concept...ok granted I rode you hard but....I hit you up 8pm the evening before opening day telling you we MIGHT find a deer next morning,Drive you to within 15 feet of stand and inform you of where deer will arrive and what time,after this quikie hunt comes together you end up harpooning a TROPHY within 30 minutes of season opening,assist in tracking/recovery,helping to load is comp'd,even get on bent knee to help you dress the deceased animal in question.Actually I helped clean it due to the fact he was standing there admiring the critter and the sun was heating it up and it was getting swelled up which made the antlers look smaller.:DIf I recall the guide also helped you select the correct tag and supplied a writing tool for you to fill it out(Rev forgot his glasses,how he drives or shoots a bow baffles me!).Next time you'll have me opening you Slimfast for you!:DWe will do something like this agin!!

Great job Rev! Too funny!

Last season my buddy did the same thing with a rifle and ended up being a really nice 7-pt "doe" with nutz. There were a couple members making a fuss (fun) about howhe won the lease big buck contest with a doe. When we found that deer the look on his face was priceless.

Sounds like y'all had a great time with great friends!

Yep we had a greattime, and he did make a good guide. He even took out his pistol at whataburger... Talk about red neck.:D
