Buck found next day
If you shoot a record book buck, but couldn't find it until the next day, will it still go in the record book?

RE: Buck found next day
I was wondering if there would be some kind of rule that would keep it out b/c someone else could say that shot it and that you just found it.

RE: Buck found next day
It should....not that i would care whether it went in the book or not

RE: Buck found next day
You can still enter the animal in the records UNLESS you have resumed hunting for another animal. This is one of the conflicts they were having a few years ago with the Zaft buck from ALB.

A deer just found dead can go in the record books.

RE: Buck found next day
I know that here in SC we have a few bucks listed in our record book that were found dead. One of the biggest bucks put in our record book in the past few years was hit by a car, not killed by a hunter.

P&Y is ONLY bowkills, However, B&C counts ALL whitetails,.... bow, gun, roadkill, found, etc.
