Did an Ortho Surgen do your fusion? Just curious! My wife had a fusion on the 10th of Sept and she is back to doing almost everything she used to. She is undergoing another during the summer b/c she has Pars Defect. A Neuro Surgeon done hers and that may be the difference. Good luck with your recovery, we will be praying for your speedy recovery. We are blessed that hers went as well as it did.

My wife wants to know what level you had to be fused at?

Yes a ortho done the surgury and I feel great. The only problems I am having are the muscles going down the side of the spine on each side. Besides that I feel pretty good. Been off the pain meds. for awhile now. I go for another follow up on Oct. 16. I feel so much better than I did before. But my ortho said I will have to find a new field of work I herniated my L4-L5,L5-S1 lifting a 500 lbs. board at work. I had both levels fused and he said the ones above them are weak. I should have had more help but didn't. One guy moving and cutting those board is way under man'ed. I got hurt in May of last year and tried to work and made it to July and my manager wouldn't abide by my restrictions. I had 5-10 lbs. restrictions and I loaded trucks everyday and also done the same boards that hurt me. I would come home from work and sit in the recliner and not move the rest of the night and my doc finally said enough and took my off work.
Then had the legal battles with my employeer and worker comp and didn't get the surgury finalized until June of this year. But I am looking to brighter things now.

Well the boy has been gone since 5:15 and I have slept about 1 hour. He is a good shot and if he gets one close enough I am sure he will put it down and when he does I will post the pic. He is a good boy, no trouble at all. There is no way I could be upset that he got his first deer. I just felt I have been depriving him last hunting season and I asked my buddy to take him this year.
