electric calls
 
i am in indiana and here like most states eletrical calls are illegel any one know why this is. Does the dnr give areason tome i do not see the diff between electrical and mouth blown calls

Electronic call are a digitized recording of the actual animal vocalizing. A blow call is all up to the quality of the call and the ability of the user. That's how a DNR officer explained it to me.

so are the electric call good enough sound wise they will work i had a guy tell me theresound is not good enough

I think in Illinois only certain species are you allowed to use electronic calls with. I guess it could possibly be considered an unfair or unethecal advantage, kinda like baiting. Who knows, the DNR has some pretty rediculous rules sometimes.
