If done so, professionally and courteously (seeking said permission)......I think we could ALL hunt more grounds than we do.
I always hand-write landowners a letter after my initial meeting with them.....whether I'm turned down or granted permission. My two best spots are those in which I was denied permission, initially......but later had them contact ME after receiving my letter to rescind their ban. I thank God for these opportunities. I don't know where I'd be (hunting-wise0 without them. |

There is definitely an art to getting permission to hunt someones land. You can't get discouraged WHEN you get denied a bunch of times. Looking for quality land and persistently pursuing private land to hunt WILL eventually payoff. After awhile you have gathered so many parcels to hunt that you start to pick and choose your prime land to hunt and your secondary lands to hunt. Some of the pieces of land you aquire over the years end up not being hunted (but still hang on to them, pay attention to them, thank the landowner etc.....). I've lost track of how many places I have to hunt now. I have them narrowed down to 3 different pieces of land that I REALLY focus on.
Or you could just do this lmao [8D]:D I just try to keep things simple and to the point by asking where they want me to park since I'll be hunting here this year. |

Don't worry buddy, you are only ugly when I look at you. But somebody at the get together said you were pretty when they were drunk...I am not sure who it was, but I think you stayed with him.;)

Congrats on securing the hunting spot! Sometimes persistence pays off, plus you seem like a very nice and well mannered guy On a side note I went knocking on some doors today...... Stopped at 10 other places..... No one answered any of the doors.... I'm not that ugly am I?:D |
