Carbon Express® Maxima™ HELP!!!

I'm shooting a 70 lb bowwith a 28" inch draw. Do you think that I should get the 350 Maximas or the 250. I would like to shoot a lighter arrow, but i don't want to hurt my bow or arrows. What should I do. Please help.[:o]

[align=left]I shoot 60 lbs with the 250's. Think they would be a little light for 70 lbs.

Why do you want to go so light? Its better to be heavier than not heavy enough!!!!Go with the 350's Im at 60# 30" draw and I shoot 350's perform flawlessly.

How long are your arrows? DL is irrelevant when determining spine, it's all about arrow length....

If you're under 27", the 250's will work perfectly fine.

Ok, I'll go with the 350. Thanks for all the advice!;)

I shot 27" long250's out of my 70# Allegiance. I did tune them and had zero problems and great groups. The Binary's are more forgiving to softer spines than other cam systems. If youare shooting a Single cam go with a stiffer arrow. If youreally want a lighter arrow check out the Carbon Tech Cheetahs. They are a top notch light weight arrow shaft.;)
Good Luck!!

Absolutely. Better to be slightly overspined than even a little bit under.

DOyou think that I should shoot the 250 or the 350, if my draw length is 28.5?

I need to know how long the ARROW is, not your draw length......

RE: Carbon Express® Maxima™ HELP!!!

My arrow length is 28.5 in. I don't know what my draw length is. I confused the arrow length with draw length. sorry about the confusion.

RE: Carbon Express® Maxima™ HELP!!!

If your arrow is 28.5", you, without question, need to be shooting the 350's.

I shoot 74 lbs. with a 29.75" arrow length and I use the 250's.............I used to shoot the 350's until I could not get my bow to tune, went to the pro-shop and he said try switching to the 250's........shot bullets! Spine is over rated up and to a point, grains per inch is just as important and you should never go below your manufacturers recomendation,5.5 GPI is a good rule of thumb to not go below.

Believe me I am not underspined and my arrows launch perfectly with the 250's...............but you will not know for sure which is right for your setup unless you can shoot both.

350's. I have the exact same arrows, poundage bow, and draw length.

RE: Carbon Express® Maxima™ HELP!!!

the 350's are a better arrow because the draw weight is 70 pounds and you need something that will keep your bow acurate

mobow 09-27-2007 01:54 PM

RE: Carbon Express® Maxima™ HELP!!!

I suppose the cams on a given bow make a difference, but I was shooting the 250's on 69#'s, 28" arrow, and I was way underspined. Even the CX selection chart is showing the 350's....
