.. this weekend. Weather is a little cooler, and they had some rain, so I think it will be worth the trip. I will miss my hunting buddies this time, but not enough to not gloat a little --if I can ;)take a decent buck!!!

I don't know how to operate my Garmin, so they won't do me much good. Thanks though. I am going to the spot whereI found the arrow, and thne I will checkout the other side of the areaI was hunting last week. Hopefully there will be some good movement this time--I'll let you know.

Greg it is right where you dropped me off. Take the fire break back to where it comes to a point. You will see a Giant Pin oak tree in the bottom. On top to the west you will see where the deer are walking in.

Some buddies of mine and myself will be there Oct. 5-8th if that is the weekend you are coming we might try to get together. Oh great! Now I will be sitting in my stand when 12 guys wearing HNI hats will come wandering by, scratching their heads, mumbling something about not being able to find any orange dots!!!! His son missed a 140" deer this morning(saturday)


He went with me to my private ground this evening and found several trails that came together and setup but his moron magnetic was stuck open and he had some kids riding 4 wheelers on the next property behind him all evening.:eek:


I hunted my buck stand and had a BIG doe and 2 fawns get within 15 yards of my stand and I passed.
