crab apple question. pleses help!
 

i local bank in my town has crab apple trees and i ask them if i could pick them up off the ground around the bank and they told me that i could, and take them off the trees if i wanted to. my QUestion is if i introduce these apples in to an area where they are not normal there will it spook the deer away or once they get use to them there will they destory them.

it won't bother the deer.they love it. i would get them going in some pots at your house before planting

Introducing a new food sourch that they are not use to might make them a little skiddish at first but the sweet smell of the fruit will have them worry free in no time.
Once you start baiting with those crab apples you'll have to replenish that pile time and time again or until you bag your prey.

oh, you're talking about just throwing them on the ground? i thought you were gonna try to plant them. i dunno about baiting with them
