sounds like your hunting right to me Jeff...i remember when PA was like your hunting...could litterally sit anywhere in the woods and if you didnt see a deer..well...you got pretty bad luck lol..but ive always had the best luck in funnels and edges of thick stuff...

sounds like your right on track. i actually missed most of the rut last year...hopefully if im not tagged out by then, i get to hunt it this year. i dont know...really looking like we will be moving right around that time:( [:@] hopefully i tag my buck before then...and if i have time i can just get out and enjoy the woods/guide buddys/take pics/maybe doe hunt...be interesting to see what a buck does when i arrow the doe he been chasing all day...lol could be a dangerous situation lol

i assume you looked into hunting that parks system?? i know alot of county parks around here are open to bowhunting in certain areas as well as state parks...i assume you already checked...but just throwin that out there...

i thought you werent buck hunting anyways:D ;)

Yes during the rut I will hunt where the does travel bed and feed.In the past this has worked for me and I dont fix things that work.Untill then I will try to stay away from them to keep their daytime movement going.Here if they even think somethings upthey wont moveuntill after dark.

Nobody hunts the parks sytem, LEGALLY. I'm sure people sneak in, but everyone knows I'm hunting this side......and they know I'll turn 'em in if I catch them!:)

I hunt doe family group travel routes to and from bedding areasthatare in theclosest proximity of the bucks I am trying to kill. (from about second week of Nov to Dec 1)
