take a kid hunting

well, I had a good weekend with my 15 year old nephew. I got him in a stand Friday evening about 4:30. He got to see several does and two bucks before dark but could get no shots on anything. Sat. morning he saw several bucks but again no shots. Saturday evening I put him in one of my stand knowing there are does underitevery evening. Well they can and he had several shots but could not draw his bow (lesson learned: shoot something you can draw anytime). All in all we had a good time even if he did not get his first kill. It will come he just needs to keep trying and sit still.
