I know the owners of Aftershock and their expandables open up a nice hole that's for sure. I'll stick with my Montec G5 fixed blades. I've shot 5 deer with them and 4 were pass troughs with plenty of a blood trail.

I would personally recommend the Tekan 2 blade expandables. Used them for the first time this weekend on a nice doe, and they were worth every penny. Fly no different than field points, and open to perfection. According to my cousin (archery shop owner) this mechanical broadhead throws every imperfection associated with mechanicals out the window, which is why I made the switch from fixed blade muzzy's for the first time...

I used to use Spitfire's (mech.) and Thunderheads (fixed)all the time. I found the two to be pretty comparable, both were very good broadheads. I then started using the G5 Montecs and still use them. I will say though, that my interest has been peeked about the Rage 2 blade broadheads, I might have to give them a try. For now, there is no other mechanical I'd want to take into the woods than the Spitfire's. I may even give them another go this year........ just for old times sake.

I promise to post a photo if I'm lucky enough to take another deer. I have 4 a/c/c's tipped with these in my quiver.
