Man we have had one hot dry summer here in Southern Indiana. I can't remember the last time it has rained. Season open in 8 days and even though I can't wait for it to get here I am sure hoping the temps drop a little. Weather.com is calling for rain on opening day which I will take over a 90 + degree day anytime. Good luck to everyone who's season opens in the next few days.

It has actually been a little cooler than that here in NWFL--high 80's--low humidity --low dew points--Well untill TD10 came through rained last couple days..My season starts in three weeks---Long range shows it to be cooler but you cain't tell till it gets here!!! Hope ya'll getum---good luck!!

I am from southern Indiana as well and my season has been in because i am in an urban zone and as much as i love hunting it is a challenge to deal with bugs and the heat.

In PA they started an early doe only season for two weeks. We hunted Friday Evening and it was 83 and it was so hot but I still enjoyed it. Didn't see much activitiy just abunch of turkeys.
