This is a nightmare

I just got my new limbs for my2005 bowtech allegiance put on yesterday. So today I decide to go out and practice, after 6 shots my upper limb cracks. Has anyone had this happen to them. The dealer couldn't believe it either. I am shooting Beman arrows 9.3 gpi29" longat 60lbs. My first set of limbs had a crack on the lower limb. Anysuggestions are welcome.

My suggestion would be to have your dealer order another set of limbs and try it again. Either that or buy a new bow. ;)

I am going to try one more time with a new set of limbs, but before I take it back from the dealer I will let him shoot it before it goes out the door. If the limbs crack on him then I will throw it out the door.

My Bowtech is flawless. You must be jinxed.;) Good luck with that and your only option is back to the dealer and contact Bowtech.

My son as a 2003 Patriot and it has no problems, I should of never sold him that bow. I think this bow is jinx.

i just replaced the limbs on my 06 allegiance and haven't had any problems yet(probably 200 shots later). I've heard that the timing being off can make limbs crack quickly which may be true in your case.

I would have the pro-shop make sure the riser isn't warped. This can be caused by alot of different reasons and if it is the case, no matter how many new limbs you get, it isn't going to help or stop the problem. This was the problem with my 04 Liberty and it could/probablly was caused by the guy at the proshop where I bought it. He pressed it to set it up and he seemed to cut corners everywhere (he helped "tune" my bow by eyeing everything up without even putting a level on anything or shooting it, and he had my Trophy Taker tied to the cable slide instead of the down cable, plus he had my rest set so that when it would lower down it was smacking the riser and taking chips out of it )

Just got off the phone with Bowtech, they said have the dealer check the limb pocket and tomake sure the riser isn't warped. What I don't get is how the lower limb cracks the first time and now it's the upper limb that cracks. If the third set cracks while I am hunting I don't care, it would give me a reason why I missed. Well I am P*issed off but then it is better than being P*issed on. Thanks to all hope you have a good season.
